Cycle 2: Activate


After cleansing the body the next cycle activates correct eating habits for the next cycle. Here the concept used is the Metabolism confusion which is to intake precisely carbohydrates in the right form and time. Metabolism function gets confused and keeps on burning the fat as per the Accelerate Cycle.

The main purpose of Activate Cycle of Dr. Mike Moreno’s 17 Day Diet is to reset the body’s metabolism. People who are fat and are overweight are most likely to have disturbed metabolism. The second cycle accentuates the metabolism to attain healthy body.

Activate Cycle Sample Meal

Cycle 2 could have a sample meal plan consisting of the following:

Breakfast

  • Dr. Mike’s Power Cookie
  • Fresh peach
  • Green tea

Lunch

  • Chicken salad
  • Brown rice
  • Sugar-free fruit-flavored yogurt

Dinner

  • Grilled salmon
  • Steamed vegetables

Foods You Should Eat

Food that you should be eating during the Activate Cycle include seafood like calms, shrimp, oysters; lean items like beef and pork; natural starches (before 2pm) like oat bran, brown rice, and couscous; legumes like black beans, peas, and soy beans.

Foods You Should Not Eat

Foods that you should not be consuming during the Activate Cycle are same as the foods that are not supposed to be eaten during the Accelerate Cycle.

Exercise

Even though the metabolism confusion technique does not require much of exercise to lose weight, the ideal workout plan for the Activate Cycle is to exercise for 17 minutes each day to boost your metabolism.
